WP 5. Piloting and Implementation
Objectives
To develop quality assurance strategy ensuring competitiveness and social cohesion.
To reform and modernise the university governance, including the establishing and/or strengthening of quality assurance units
To equip governance, academic and administrative staff with skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to implement and continuously enhance a quality strategy, including targeted training courses
Activities:
T5.1 Establishing/Strengthening the Quality Assurance Units in UZ partner HEIs. Modernized and strengthened quality assurance units with trained staff will apply and test the developed quality assurance strategy in practice, new procedures and quality assurance criteria in educational practice. This work package includes two main activities: analysis and selection of a program for testing new quality assurance procedures (a corresponding analytical report will be prepared) and implementation of a pilot project on the selected program.
T5.2 Testing and Implementing Project Quality Assurance Strategy, regulatory documentation for QA procedures and tools. The feedback and analysis of the results will be held and developed further. During implementation phase 2 experts from EU partners will come to Uzbekistan to share EU experience in QA practices in the form of workshops for the administrative staff of UZ HEIs.
T5.3 Multiplication of training on Quality Assurance and Digital Skills for Academic and Administrative Staff to other HEIs of Uzbekistan. Evaluations will be conducted by EU partners.
