On Thursday, March 13, 2025, the fourth day of the training within the QUARTZ project took place. Today’s session covered important topics: research quality and social responsibility (third mission).
Main focus areas discussed:
- Aligning research structures with the university's strategic goals
- Enhancing the capacity of faculties, departments, and research centers
- Implementing systems for planning, monitoring, and evaluating scientific activities
- Strengthening initiatives and social impact within the third mission
Universities are actively working on the following directions:
- Developing clear research strategies
- Introducing strategic planning tools
- Establishing mechanisms for assessing and improving research outcomes
- Expanding active engagement with society
This session was an important step towards transforming higher education institutions into socially responsible and impactful research centers.
