International Forum on Quality Assurance in Education Held in Tashkent
On September 19–20, 2025, Tashkent hosted the International Forum on Quality Assurance in Education, bringing together leading international experts and representatives of higher education institutions across Uzbekistan. The forum became an important platform for discussing modern approaches and future prospects in developing quality assurance systems in higher education.
Among the participants were universities from the Erasmus+ QUARTZ consortium – Quality Assurance for Reform and Transformation of Higher Education Institutions in Uzbekistan.
On the second day, during the workshop “Identifying Needs for Improving Internal Quality Assurance Systems”, Mr. Farkhad Niyazov, QUARTZ Project Coordinator, delivered a presentation on the project. He highlighted its concept, background, and expected results, attracting significant interest from international experts as a notable example of advancing national practices in quality assurance.
The forum also provided QUARTZ representatives with a valuable opportunity to exchange views with global leaders in the field, including:
