On March 30, 2026, a prestigious delegation of Members of the European Parliament visited the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The guests were welcomed by the university's rector, Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov. The primary purpose of the visit is to gain a deeper understanding of the university's scientific and pedagogical activities, particularly the projects implemented under the European Union's flagship Erasmus+ program, and to establish even stronger cooperation for the future.
The members of the delegation were greatly impressed by the university's active presence in the international arena, its systematic approach to integrating youth into the global educational space, and the practical results achieved through its Erasmus+ projects. The main objectives of today's visit were to expand mutually beneficial cooperation, develop more joint projects, and deepen the educational and cultural exchange between Uzbek and European youth.
