On 16 October 2026, partners of the Erasmus+ QUARTZ project, "Quality Assurance for Reform and Transformation of HEIs in Uzbekistan," met for the second and final day of the 6th Coordination Meeting at Central Asian University in Tashkent.
What happened on Day 2 📝
🔹 QA Units' future action plans: KIUT, CAU, SRIUTCH and UbTUIT presented their plans, including objectives and priority areas, planned activities, timelines and responsibilities, and key performance indicators for monitoring progress.
🔹 Peer feedback: European partners from the University of L'Aquila (Italy) and Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) discussed each action plan and gave practical recommendations.
🔹 Action plan for the next 6 months: Farkhad Niyazov (Kimyo International University in Tashkent) presented the joint action plan for the coming period.
🔹 Meeting feedback survey: led by SRIUTCH, so the consortium can keep improving future meetings.
🔹 Closing ceremony: certificates were presented to participants, and the meeting ended with a group photo. 📸
Over two days, the partners reviewed achievements, shared challenges, and agreed clear priorities to keep strengthening quality assurance in Uzbek higher education. 💡
