On March 10, 2025, the first day of the QUARTZ project training began at L'Aquila University and concluded with important conclusions.
Main idea:
Universities must define, formalize, and implement their quality concepts. Clear policies and strategies are necessary for this.
The training focused on the following key areas:
-
Educational processes
-
Scientific research
-
Third mission (i.e., social engagement and cooperation)
-
Institutional activities
These areas serve as the main foundation for forming a unified and transparent approach to quality assurance in higher education. During the training, lively discussions were held on aligning academic excellence with real-life needs.
