Training Session held at Urgench Branch of TUIT within the framework of the Erasmus+ QUARTZ Project
A training session was successfully held at the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi within the framework of the Erasmus+ QUARTZ project, aimed at enhancing quality assurance in higher education institutions.
✅ On May 22-23, 2025, Urgench Branch of TUIT hosted the training program titled “Main Principles for an Effective Quality Assurance Policy.” This event was implemented as part of the QUARTZ project under the support of the European Union's Erasmus+ program, which focuses on improving educational standards through international collaboration and capacity building.
🔵 The training session was officially opened by the Director of the Urgench branch, Mr. Sh. Ismoilov, who welcomed participants and emphasized the significance of the QUARTZ project. In his speech, he noted that the initiative holds a vital role in the development and transformation of Uzbekistan’s higher education system, bringing it closer to international standards.
➡️ The event gathered a wide range of participants, including deputy directors, faculty deans, academic staff, department employees, and other engaged stakeholders from the university. Their active involvement highlighted the institution’s commitment to educational reform and quality enhancement.

🔹 Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, exchange knowledge, and deepen their understanding of modern approaches to quality assurance. The sessions not only provided theoretical insight but also offered interactive tasks to apply concepts in practice.
🎓 At the conclusion of the training, certificates were awarded to all participants in recognition of their active engagement and successful completion of the program.
